Public Interest Alberta has identified ten broad areas on which to focus attention in the coming months and years. In each area, we have established a Task Force to identify current trends, plan strategic directions and implement action plans to articulate and advance the public interest.

These areas are:

• Childcare
• Post-Secondary Education
• Seniors
• Democracy
• Privatization
• Environment
• Community Human Services & Poverty
• Education

In addition to these Task Forces, Public Interest Alberta continues to monitor other issues of concern, such as health care and elections, and will work with our member organizations to disseminate information on these issues.
