Our Board Chair Larry Booi recently wrote to the Honourable Irfan Sabir, Alberta's Minister of Human Services, to congratulate him on taking action to increase the province's support for women's shelters."It is hard to think of a more important and badly-needed initiative for Alberta's families, and it will most certainly pay significant long-term dividends in improving the safety and wellbeing of so many of our province's vulnerable women and children."
