Public Interest Alberta is proud to announce an essay contest!
We want to know: What does a just future for all look like in Alberta? How do we ensure a future with economic, social, and climate justice at the core?
This contest is open to young people (aged 14 - 30) and you can enter in any format:
- 500 word essays
- 3 - 5 minute videos
- Songs and poems
- Visual entries including paintings, collage, drawings
- Tactile and sculptural entries
- Anything you can think of that can show your vision for a just and equitable Alberta!
Prizes: All prizes are gift certificates to Glass Bookshop, an independent Edmonton-based book store focused on Canadian writing with special attention paid to LGBTQ2SIA and IBPOC writers, as well as the independent publishers who help to produce their work.
