Premier Redford pledges no new taxes in 2013 budget
"Despite Alberta’s ballooning deficit, there will be no tax increases in the 2013 provincial budget, Premier Alison Redford said Wednesday. Bill Moore-Kilgannon of Public Interest Alberta said residents are willing to discuss tax increases if they are justified and prevent major cuts to key programs such as health care and education."
