Following the media conference there will be a Tea Dance, featuring the Dene Tha drummers, in Churchill Square from 12:15pm – 12:45pm.WHY: January 28 has been declared an Idle No More World Day of Action, in keeping with Idle No More being inclusive of all, as it is not just an “Aboriginal Issue”. The movements uniting as Common Causes believe that coordinated action is needed to take a strong stand against a federal government agenda that is changing society in a broad range of critical areas such as the economy, the environment, Indigenous rights, labour rights, health care, food safety, education, social programs, culture, civil liberties, peace, and poverty, and that is at odds with a significant majority of people.-30-For more information, or to arrange an interview in advance, contact: Bill Moore-Kilgannon, 780-993-3736Morningstar Mercredi, 780-881-6756#IDLENOMORE #IDLNOMOREFTP #J28www.idlenomore.caTwitter: @Common_Causes & @CausesCommunes | Facebook.com/CommonCausesCausesCommunes | www.commoncauses.ca
