As students in every corner of the province headed back to school earlier this month, Public Interest Alberta Executive Director Joel French spoke to CTV Alberta Primetime about the high cost of going back to school.

He discussed the government's delay on eliminating school fees, the current strain on school boards to find funds for those families and students unable to pay, and the provision of quality, accessible, and affordable child care in the province. French also discussed solving Alberta's revenue problem and what the costs could be if it goes unsolved.
