Public Interest Alberta stands in solidarity with education workers in Ontario.
The Ford Government has backtracked on their unconstitutional legislation imposing a contract on 55,000 education workers. This is a huge win for CUPE Ontario and for all workers across Ontario and Canada.
In Alberta, we are inspired by the bravery of these workers to stand up to a hostile government in Ontario and demand better for themselves and for the students they serve. When we stand together, we win.
Even though the Ford Government has blinked, the fight is not over. We are proud to stand with CUPE Ontario to ensure their rights are protected and respected.
