Danielle Smith and the UCP are going to introduce their budget very, very soon. The Premier is saying it's going to be a tough one for every day Albertans.

That's why we are asking you to help us build a People's Budget that will present a real alternative to the UCP's agenda of cuts and privatization.

We will release the full results and reflect the real priorities of hardworking Albertans.

Public Interest Alberta invites you to help build a budget that puts Albertans first. We will be engaging with Albertans and releasing the full results of our engagement ahead of the introduction of the UCP Government’s budget.

At PIA, we believe that budgets should reflect your priorities, and that budgets should be built with Albertans. That’s why we are engaging in an open and transparent process that will result in a different kind of budget than what we’ve seen from the UCP Government’s in the past.

Your input will be used to build an alternative People’s Budget that will ensure we have a opportunity for Albertans from all walks of life to tell us what they want. We will also release the full results of the survey back to Albertans, unlike the Government’s process. This way, we can trust that our People’s Budget reflects the true priorities of Albertans.
