A new contract for a private company to provide community lab services in Alberta is raising questions and concerns from unions and the opposition NDP.

Alberta Health Services (AHS) announced this week they, along with Alberta Precisions Labs (APL), have reached an agreement on contract terms for DynaLife to provide lab services to most communities in the province beginning in July. Health Minister Jason Copping said Saturday that the new contract is expected to save the province money that can in turn be used to improve other areas of the health-care system. Read more →
