Our speakers will include:
- Ellen Nygaard, former senior adviser in public policy at the Government of Alberta. She is a pension professional with decades experience in pension policy, including as a former board member of several Alberta pension plans.
- Ricardo Acuña, Executive Director of the Parkland Institute, an Alberta-wide, non-partisan research centre situated within the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta. Parkland Institute studies economic, social, cultural, and political issues facing Albertans and Canadians, using the perspective of political economy. The Institute shares the results of its research widely and promotes discussion of the issues its research raises.
The presentation starts at 6 PM and will finish at 7:30pm with the webinar opening at 5:30 PM, there will be a live Q&A session at the end where participants can ask questions and engage in discussion.
